LS3 E-rod oil capacity

I have installed a GM Performance LS3 E-rod in my GTM and replaced the LS3 oil pan with a 04 bat wing oil pan. Does anyone know the oil capacity with filter using the bat wing pan on the LS3 E-rod? Are the LS3 dip stick marks accurate with this pan? If they are I'm all set. Thanks

Hi,

6.5 Quarts will be the spec for the oil pan and filter capacity. I believe that since the E-Rod engine was designed for use with a different oil pan, the stock LS-3 dipstick may not be accurate. You may want to consider getting a LS-1 or LS-6 dipstick from a C5 Corvette.
