today had first start and A short go cart. been waiting on back ordered parts until today the fed ex man brought what I needed, so I slapped in the parts and did a quick check of misc items , did a pre lube on the engine and set the timing hit the key and she fired right up just like it was run yesterday, it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy I almost went inside to kiss the wife.

After a few adjustments took her out for a proper go cart, HOLY CRAP! this thing hauls ***. Jumped on it out of the driveway and left a 20 foot patch before I knew it.

I forgot all about the spec's It's a stock remanufactured long block 5.0 from Blueprint engines with A Typhoon intake and a holly 4160 600cfm carb HEI distributer and a t5 with a fox body 8.8 with 3.73s Not a lot compared to some out there but its plenty for me.

Took it out for a go cart yesterday again, I was in my subdivision and saw a man walking his wife's little dog of some kind , the man looked up at me and gave me a pitiful wave and a smile and I thought to myself that poor Son of A Gun was miserable but somehow even he got a little grin from my loud exhaust and naked steel framed V8 go cart . and that was awesome. Can't wait to see his face when it's all done, I might even take him for A ride.
