Which is the front 500# or 400#

My MK4 manual from Dec 2012, rev. 3R calls out the rear shocks at 350# (solid axle). No expert, but wouldn't the higher-rated shocks go to the front?

Factory front is 500#.

Thanks guys I thought the higher would be front. Any one have a clearance on headers to the foot box drivers and pass on an Fe install

Brenton (Vote For Pedro) just sent you pics of my shocks.
Front springs are 500# and the rears are 350#, but I've got a straight axle rear.
Check your phone.
