We have a few out of town guest that were looking for something fun to do tomorrow and a breakfast with a short cruise seemed perfect. We can discuss a possible 1/2 hrs cruise up to Mt Baldy or possibly a 1 hrs long cruise up Glendora Mountain Rd. up and around to Azusa Cyn. Weather looks OK for the morning?????

What a great group. We arrived this morning at Maniac Mike just in time for the flag raising, God Bless America. We had 8 people and 3 FFR Roadsters but that's not bad since this was thrown together at the last minute. We had two friends from Nevada and we manage a visitor from North Carolina & one from New Jersey. Not bad huh?

It was decided we would do a cruise up through Glendora Mountain Road and then down through Azusa Canyon Road. We set out under somewhat clear sky's from the restaurant right after breakfast. Looking to the west the sky was dark and gloomy but we were hoping for the best.

Just our luck, once we got up above the low hanging clouds it was sunny and warm. What a beautiful day. This was our scenery most of the morning. Poor us.

Who could be sad when you have this just a few miles from where you live. Nice twisty roads just begging to be driven by guys and girl with Roadsters.

We took a break about a third of the way through the canyon and got out of the cars for a photo op. Little did we know we would soon be overwhelmed with bicyclist who all wanted to take pictures of the cars and pose for pictures in front of the cars. A 5 minute stop turned into much more.

Action photos from inside the car during the cruise this morning with the car behind ours and the i.e.427 logo on our windscreen. Don't you wish all days could be just like the one we had today? We really enjoyed spending time with the group of visitors we had today. There is nothing better than getting these cars out on the road where they are meant to be. Sitting at car shows all day is OK but driving them is so much more fun. Until the next breakfast get together, thanks guys (and girls), we thoroughly enjoyed this one.
