5:00am today met Ron Ice to travel to Van Horn Tx to meet the Alpine cobra's for Snake & Eggs. I drove up told Ron I need to get some Java at corner store...came out and found Ron changing fat tier on a white toyo car. Walked up found out tow strippers were just getting off work and had a flat. Good man that Ron.... to "scarify" himself to help out. The two young ladies were very thankful...asked Ron "Well you come and see us dance"?

Charles,
I agree. Last spring, we went to Big Bend. This spring we visited the Guadalupe Mountains. It's an acquired taste, but I think the Chihuauan Desert area of West Texas is the most amazing area of the state.

Yesterday's ride was great fun. It was good to finally meet all you guys from Alpine. The most amazing thing to me, even though I have experienced it before, was how quickly the air temp went from very cool to hot. The early morning ride was fabulous, the ride home was a little warm but still good. Leave it to Ron to be picking up exotic dancers before dawn.
