Ready to start my build, but have a question about lower control arm. I was planning to use my mustang donor lower control arms but saw in the build manual that my 18X9 wheels might not work. I had no problem with them rubbing in the mustang and i called ff and was told they may or may not work, and they would not recommend using them. Does anyone have experience with this.

On the 17x9s the inner edge of the wheel rubbed on the lower front edge of the UCA when the steering was turned to full lock. Either some grinding or a few hits w/ a sledge hammer fixed the problem. I would have thought that 18s might be less prone to the contact but don't know for sure. I wouldn't worry about it. You can upgrade to FFR arms later.

I have 17s and put steering rack limiters to stop the tires rubbing on the F panel. That stopped any chance of interference with the control arms.
