Hi everyone,
For the last two months I provided teasers for excitement purposes. I just submitted my work this morning and to be fair to those I teased here is my design. Game on everyone! Good luck all!

Simply spectacular. I've been thinking that my favorite by far was Xabier's but this one is right up there with it. It looks great from all angles, which I think is very impressive.

It does look good, but for me it's too bulky. A kit car doesn't need the high beltline of this design. For the 818 I'd prefer something lighter looking and more lithe... Something along the lines of a Porsche/Beck 550 Spyder.

Beautiful rendering.
I agree it's bulky behind the driver compartment.
Undecided on the grill. The front kinda has a Honda thing going on....
I like the tailights, but they look hard to produce on a budget.
Nice job.

Thanks for all the comments...we all work hard and best of luck to everyone. Every designs deserved a credit, it's not easy to design something that is original and... pleasing everyone, which will never happens.

Thank you and Redvette33. I have tried many vent designs on the bonnet.
For some reasons it doesn't do it for me.
I want this design to be clean with convex & concave surfacing
And at the same time simple and elegantly sexy. Something new, unique,
And modern looking. My intent is to make the design apart from the lotus, cayman and alpha.
Those were my inspirational competitors I want out do in terms of design.
Of the vents that need to be added later is up to FFR.

People need to be able to see more pictures of the winner, so I'm bumping this thread,
I'm still on the fence myself.

anyone know what scale they're going to do it in?
I THOUGHT Dave said 1/10th scale in the video, but I'm not 100% sure...

Factory Five, Grass Root Motor, SolidWorks, the Judges and all of the forum community, thank you very much for this opportunity in this contest. I must say I am really surprised and thrilled for receiving the award. The fact that this award is presented to me by Factory Five, GRM, SolidWorks, and the judges is an added honor. Many talented individuals here was an inspiration to me and to many others. We all worked hard and had fun with this contest, in the end I we all are winners.
In conclusion, it has been a lot of fun and it has been very rewarding for me to be able to create something unique and take to heart from all of the great comments and ideas what the enthusiasts want from the 818. Thank you very much.
@Texan_GTM: ask Mad dog to post my color selection images. There's red, yellow, silver, white, and black with racing stripes. That will helped you make your choices.

Same windshield? I thought maybe it was the Lotus Elise windshield.
