Very tidy. The best that I have seen.

I used a wiper off a Mercedes C280 that works well but took a lot of effort to get it right. It tucks neatly inside the bonnet with just a bare minimum of trimming needed.

Nice! I did a single wiper too, but it's not nearly as tidy as yours.

What are you going to do (if anything) about the wiper fluid sprayer?

Seems like a lot of folks are doing single wipers without having to cut the hood. On mine, my hood sits quite close to the windshield. It nearly touches at the corners of the hood so I had to trim the returns of the hood down there, that that only extends maybe 3" inward from the outer edge of the hood.

Probably this weekend or next, I need to start working on the wipers as one of the final things I need to do in order to pass inspection and get on the street. I don't want to cut the hood. I have a remote master cylinder which is in the way of my pushing up the hood toward the back. I guess I could push it up further back, from the frame. Not sure I will get the needed clearance that way though. Anyone done it this way? If so, did you lift the back corners of the hood at all to help clearance?

I did the same thing with the hood support. The hood really moves around, at +50mph, with out it.
Then I have some hood pin extenders that I can have the rear of the hood up another ~1.5" up, to clear wiper arm; for temporary use.

My hood is mounted normally and I did not trim the returns. My windshield is mounted back and down all the way.

I used the subaru wrx piece with one arm. I didn't cut the hood but the returns are shaved pretty thin where the hood sweeps, I did use a hood support made out of 1 x 1 aluminum stock with an adjustable height bumper from ACE on the top. There is a wiper thread with all sorts of details. It can be done...

I didn't. I included a support under the center of the hood to provide clearance for the single wiper, but left the rest of the hood alone. It bows up a little, but is not noticeable. Also, it makes the hood very stable and eliminates the floppiness it had before I mounted the wiper.

I had to move the fenders in slightly where they meet the hood near the windshield to account for the mild bow in the hood, maybe 1/8 inch or so, as I recall.

On this forum it always amazes me how many ways there are to skin a cat. . . or mount wipers. I also used the donor mechanism and modified it for one arm, didn't cut the hood but used a center hood brace. I've enjoyed seeing how many variations there are, so here's another one.
