My mk4 2012 and new 2015 rev 4b manual says the front shocks are 2.5 IN shorter than rear shocks.
All 4 shocks in my kit are the same part # and measure the same length. Just wondering what you
other 2015 IRS builders have in your kit before I call FFR Monday.

P S As 33 Machine noted there is a lot of paper, glad they overpack but wonder if they own stock
in a paper mill?

All four shocks are the same. I don't have the exact length in front of me. But my kit came with four Koni's of the same part number and they're all installed.
I'm not aware that the 2015 IRS option has been incorporated into the manual yet. There is a set of supplemental instructions you should be using.

thanks for the reply. The new manual has the new 2015 IRS instructions included and they dropped the old.
But on page 39, instructions about the front shocks still say the rear shocks are 2.5" longer than the front. The
same instructions as the manual I purchased in 2012. Seems FFR needs to update this part of the next version
of the manual.
As a side note, like many others I follow your build progress and am grateful for the insight of the build you
are doing. Was going to powder coat my frame black, but after seeing yours with the 20th color I may change
my mind.

Good to know about the manual. I get asked for a copy of the instructions sometimes. Now I can just say read the manual! :D
Thanks for the props about the build thread. Continue to be amazed how many are getting something from it. The Anniversary color is nice. I like it too. My very first build (a Mk3) had bright silver powder coat on the frame and panels. That was a good look too. A nice change-up from black.

IRS shocks are the same all around, solid rear axles shocks are longer.
