Hi all,

I am in the UK and looking for a donor to build an 818 next winter.

The FF website says the car needs to be from 2002-2007 but in the UK, as far as I can find out they are the same from 2000-2007. I have found a 2001 wrx with oly 55000 miles which I think would be ideal, can anyone out there confirm that it would be OK as a donor please?

Cheers

Andy

It would need to be a GD chassis. The bugeye would be the first and the hawkeye would be the last of that generation. Google leads me to believe that until up to 2001 the UK still had the GC chassis (http://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/reviews/subaru/impreza-turbo/) which will not work 100% (suspension is different).

I did find some info that shows that in 2000 the UK had the prodrive uk300 which is a GD chassis and would work.

Thanks Mechie3. Had a great reply from Amit at FF who also said , as long as its bugeye, blobeye or hawkeye it will be fine.
