1. 1965 CJ-3 Heatercore that I got from Autozone for about $35.00.
2. 5/8" Four Season's manual heater control valve.
3. Attwood 3" Marine blower and some Spectra 3" intake ducting.
4. Hand fabricated aluminum bracket and some foam insulation tape secures it in place.
5. Grommet's hold the front up where the tubes exit the front of the passenger foot box.
6. Choke Cable purchased from Jegs controls the water flow.

sounds like a very cost effective solution.

Be sure to use a bypass type control valve that returns the coolant when the heater is not being used rather than one that simply deadheads it.

Something like this:

Rather than this:

Can you explain why?

The return will go into the intake before/below the outlet to the radiator.
I ran the single because I didn't want to short cycle the thermostat.
My 1980 Z/28 had a single valve with no bypass.

Any additional insight would be appreciated.
