I'm wanting to go with a tri power,is the 2110 a good carb? How many cfms

Ford had 401 horsepower tri-power 390s back in 1961 and 1962. That may be a good place to start researching. What cam and heads are you going to use?

Edelbrock 170cc 72cc Fe heads, and haven't picked the cam out its going to be a roller

I had a tri-power carb system from Pony Carburetors on a '65 Mustang with a 306 that ran great once I got the linkage dialed in. These use three Autolite 4100 carbs (original Ford two-barrel carbs) with the air cleaner lip modified by removing the unused half.

It came with a cast aluminum air cleaner top and bottom, but I milled the ribs off the top (they matched those on the top of a pair of Cobra valve covers) and made it look like an inexpensive factory piece.
