MOD EDIT: Dan supplied a new pic he took himself.
I took this with my iPhone 6S, and the setting I really can't say, because I accidently change the settings that morning. I took this at the Boatyard Restaurant in Annapolis, Maryland just after dawn. I walked away to chat with other Cobra owners in my club and someone said, 'Hey, that looks pretty cool there and the way it sits in the light.' And so, here it is!

This picture was taken by a camera hobbyist that loves old cars. And she took a lot of photos. I have no information on settings or effects she used. But it was a Nikon 35mm with telescopic lens, maybe 75-150 range, not sure. Location was Fort Hunt Park, Virginia, mid-afternoon. Location
Fort Hunt, Virginia Picture Uploads
Contacted the photographer and sent her a copy of this post to give her share credit!

She said she wasn't a professional, it's just a hobby. MOD EDIT: She's "Professional" enough to claim copyright and demand it be taken down.

My deepest apologies to the administrators and this forum for any inconvenience that this might of caused. I feel like an idiot about this whole thing and I apologize to the photographer as well. She is right about credit copyrights, It's the law whether the subject is my car, but it's her picture and skills that made this photo outstanding. I didn't mean to be selfish or disrespectful. She has sent me the same photo with the correct copy rights printed.
But I'm more than to happy to rescind the POM, it's the right thing to do. Thank you for understanding friends.

Rather than rescinding the POM, why don't we just take the picture he is using in his avatar and insert it into the POM frame. It's a beautiful car regardless of who took the picture.

Thanks Frank, really nice of you implied this idea, I do have a really nice (I took) but the POM has been already been rescinded. It's up to Mr Hodgkins. I won't be hurt if someone else is selected.

Dans65,
As a hobbyist photographer who also copyrights the photos I post on my website ... I would have been honored that it was selected and given you ... or I should say this forum ... the rights to use it with a photographer's credit.
Don't feel bad ... if the photographer did not tell you that it was copyrighted or for that matter did not mark it as copyrighted then it is not your fault.
As you can see from my website http://carlwilliamsimages.com
the photos that I want copyrighted are marked as such.
The website also has this notice:
"Copyright for this gallery photo belongs solely to Carl E Williams. Images may not be copied, downloaded, or used in any way without the express, written permission of the photographer."
Note that even if the photographer did not mark the photo as copyrighted they can still claim it according to U.S. law.
The bottom line: While it is legally the "infringers" responsibility to know the rules ... it sure is helpful if the photographer is up front about how they want their photos treated and mark them appropriately in accordance with the copyright laws to better inform their clients.
Very Respectfully,
Carl Williams

I have a dumb question though, why was the first picture Blue? did you repaint it? (I guess that's 2 questions)
