New to the world of pre-cut aluminum panels. Question...how exact do things need to be? For example front lower panel is wider on both anglular sides by maybe 1/8th of an inch in the middle. If I need to cut to size, what is best way to do so? Grind it down after marking?

good tin snips work well on the thinner chassis panels (not so much if you need to trim the firewall, though!)

The trapezoid-ish piece? If it's too wide on both sides, it goes further back.

FWIW, my aluminum has fit pretty well thus far.

FYI... I had to trim the panels around the front suspension; that seems to be a common one with issues.

My cockpit panels all fit well, but I did completely hack up the center tunnel Al to fit my different shifter and e-brake.
