Quick question to anyone out there that has the three-link and FFR supplied rear-end. How close were you able to get the hole on the upper link bracket aligned with the pumpkin flange hole? The instructions say that some drilling may be required. I have the holes aligned to within half a diameter, should I keep trying to get closer or just run the drill through? Not a whole lot of flexibility here...

That was about as close as I could get mine. ran the bit through the bracket and stuck the bolt in and nylock on.

If you leave the pinch bolts back at the axle attachment slightly loose, and use a long tapered pry bar, you can usually get it close enough for the bolt to go through. Even though it is counter to standard practice (head of bolt either up or forward) I put the bolt in from the bottom. Also a longer bolt so you can taper grind the threaded end helps.

Thanks for the input guys. Right now I have everything loose and a screwdriver in the flange hole. I'll try a tapered pry bar next, that should give me more leverage.

I followed these instruction that I found including building up the tapered down axle housing. Plug welded the Banana bracket to the axle then installed the bolt

Thanks for the info Rick. Was hoping to avoid welding if possible as I'm not set up for it here. Is this a typical install method for this bracket?
