Complete Kit arrives in Arlington VA tomorrow. My wife Fernanda actually sounds more excited than I am.

Looking forward to a great time and new friends

Cool! I upgraded your account a little early so you can update your profile and set up pic albums for the build thread. You ARE going to have a build thread?

Can you tell us some of your plans? 3link/IRS, motor size, wheels etc?

Congratulations!

:)

That's great news!!! Enjoy delivery and the journey to follow. Keep us posted with pics and details, as we all love to watch others as they progress through the build.

Delivery on 4/9 went well. Driver Jim was very friendly and helpful; he even kept me posted throughout the day with his progress through the weather and traffic.

Remaining cars in the truck included a Mk 3.1 replacement shell, a 33 HR, and a Daytona. Jim headed south after leaving us.

My overall goal is a street/sleeper that my wife also can drive (which limits TQ/HP and transmission choice. She admittedly cannot/will not attempt to use a standard).

302 w/ AOD
3.55 3-Link
No PB; Strongly considering electric-assist PS
Under-car exhaust
No scoop or side louvers (unless you all tell me that doing so creates a major heart issue)
Shortened (Breeze) roll-bars
Halibrand 17” w/ 245 & 315

I'll figure out photoshop/posting pics later, after I finish inventory.

Best,

Brian

Welcome to the fray. If I can pass along a little advice others had given me, when doing inventory, try to group parts in boxes or bins by their purpose. Brakes, fuel system, electrical, body, interior, hardware, etc...

I am working on a 302/AOD install and am documenting fitment. Right now I need a few parts to drop the engine and trans in. Do yourself and your wife a favor, open up the passenger footbox, you can gain several inches of room there.

Congratulations on make the decision to add a Factory Five to your bucket list. Know that the folks on this forum are great and always willing to help and so are the Super Techs @ Factory Five.

On a personal note, please, please, please make sure that you do a very detailed inventory and read, read, read your assembly manual. Doing both will help you in the long run because not only will you know what you have and what you don't, but you will become quite familiar you with each and every part. Just don't count the rivets because that's a little too detailed.

Congratulations Again!
