Looking forward to my first FF Open House in June. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on hotels in the area.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate so I can drive my roadster. Maybe others could stay at the same hotel and drive in together.
Thanks in advance for any suggested hotels.

Factory Five typically will have some hotel suggestions on the Open House announcement with suggested hotels and somewhat discounted rates. For last year's Open House, we stayed at the Hampton in Raynham-Taunton because I had some reward points and we like that chain. It was a good location and I would recommend. When I picked up my kit later in the summer, we stayed at the Days Inn in Middleborough. Will not stay there again. A little rough for our taste. There are a number of really great Bed and Breakfasts in that area, but I just didn't want to take a chance having a place to park our tow vehicle and trailer. We stayed an extra day and cruised Cape Cod the day after the Open House. Very highly recommended!

What is the Townshend? I tried to book the new Towneplace Suites Marriott at the intersection of 495, only a 1/2 mile down the road from Factory Five. This is the one recommended by Factory Five on their site. However they said they are sold out and I am on a waiting list....I had to book at another location further away. The only Marriott Townshend I found was not near Factory Five.

Lets not forget the cookout the night before at Kalstar's house :-) This will be the 3rd annual.

Bummer....still showing "Sorry, currently there are no rooms available at this property for the dates you selected. Please try your search again..." I called them and asked for FFR group rate and was told the same thing. No rooms at the inn!

We tried booking there a few weeks ago and were also told "sold out".
