Using stock 302 with 4160 holly carb, electric Holley 12-427 fuel pump, would 3/8 fuel line work ? Or is 5/16 ok, thanks

5/16 fuel line is plenty for a stock 302. Looking at instructions for that pump, it's made for 5/15 fittings and lines. Seems 5/16 inch is the right choice.

Since you are running an electric fuel pump the 5/16" line is fine. I ran 3/8's in line on my car, but I have a mechanical fuel pump and the engine is far from stock and is a bit larger at 383 CID. On my set up the fuel pump is sucking fuel instead of pushing it so that's the main reason why I ran the larger line. If I were running an electric fuel pump I don't know if I'd have up-sized the lines. Happy Easter!

If you already have the 5/16, go ahead and use it. If you need to buy, I would go ahead and prepare for future engine upgrades by installing the 3/8. Doing the lines as part of the build is a lot easier than redoing later.
