I remember when these came out. I was looking at building an FFR back when I retired from the Navy in 2002-2003. I started hunting for this sign when I ordered my kit in 2013. I built the car before I finally scored the sign on EBay.

That's my usual brand! I also remember when those came out way back when and had pretty much forgotten about them. I'll need to find one for the new shop :)

Chief-

That's a great sign! That's the first one I have seen, and I really like it. I will have to keep an eye out for it now.

Now I need to make sure Jeff isn't bidding against me! ;-o)

Steve

These signs were made in 2002 as part of a contest done by Miller where they gave away an FFR. There is one of the FFR windshield stickers on the car on the sign.
There was also a poster:

Yeah, but Jeff, you don't look anything like the one in red on that poster! I bet if you did, there would be a line of FFR's across the state waiting to be painted. ;-o)

Steve

Steve, I used ta could......Boy, back in the day I had a crankin set of "get-away-sticks" and with a little lipstick and some........HEY! I DID MY TIME FOR THAT! HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW HE WAS AN UNDERCOVER ? It's not fair, those guys should have to wear a jacket that says they are undercover.

I have the metal sign, poster and the cardboard counter stand that held the entry forms. FFR and Miller beer had a contest several years back. If you collected the right bottle caps you won a kit and some cash to help build it.

I believe a pastor from North or South Carolina won!
