2016 Shelby GT350 wrecked and being sold at salvage.
I think this would make THE BEST Shelby Replica!
Or could you call it a Real Shelby then??

salvage title, 247 miles, expected to sell for about $20. Actually doesn't seem like a bad deal and would be The Talk of The Donors!

when I think how much my engine, tranny and rear end totalled, I think this would be a no-brainer.

With five hours to go, the bid is at almost $37K. Pretty expensive donor, even with that cool Voodoo engine. According to the comments in the linked article, someone ran a Carfax and it was 4 days old when totaled. Crazy.

A little off topic, but even if one of these engines dropped into your lap, could be a significant challenge to get it running. I'm assuming the PCM is the same as a Coyote, something I'm just now starting to learn about, and it's linked to the VIN, security system, immobilizer, etc. Somehow that has to be worked around with a custom tune or an aftermarket PCM. I suspect not a small task. Not exactly plug and play.

I think so - it would take some skilled diagnostic techs to get her to work. Gas Monkey Garage on one of their shows put a new Hemi in an old dart and had to fly in Diablosport techs because of the auxiliary feed issues...

They are still too new... I've been watching the on line auctions for 2015 GT's and they frequently run up to more than you can just go out and by the parts. even if you consider selling off all the spares. it just doesn't seem to be cost effective at least not yet. Now in a few years with a few more miles it might make sense.
