Looking for a good builder in SoCal, has anyone any ideas? What about CHP????

I'd talk to Gordon Levy. Not in SoCal but he has been know to drive the engine out to someones house and tune it as well. He is in AZ so not too far away. If you want a standard Ford crate motor then Max @ Five Star Ford is also a good place to look. AZ as well.

I believe that Five Star Ford is now Chapman Ford. Max is still there and gives great prices and great service.

I know about Gordon, and most likely getting my engine from him. Just wondering if anyone in SoCal has heard of someone local that I dont know about.

Ford Performance Solutions does a good job. I know a few people that went with them and are very happy. I went the Ford Crate Motor route through Max and I am happy with that choice. F-P-S has a website and are located in Anaheim.

Wow, just checked out FPS website and they have some nice prices, thanks for the info. When I get to Cali Im going to take the tour of the shop they offer and see whats up. Thanks again.
