Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the person responsible for my addiction to the roadster. Wondering if that person is in this forum?

Here is my story. I'm not certain on the year, but in the early 2000s I was living in Costa Rica. I was in a car and stopped in a red light, in front of me there was this beautiful roadster(not sure if it was an FFR), classic blue with White stripes, fat rear tires, chrome roll bars, great rumbling sound, light went green and the roadster slowly takes off, without even wanting rear tires start skipping, I could tell it was a very powerful machine, driver got in second gear tires skipped again and that was the last time I saw it.

This was the first time I saw a roadster and I can't deny I was in love, at that moment I told myself, I need to have one of those. Years went by, finished college, went to life in Barcelona for 6 months, and landed in Boston short after, years after that I found out about factory five and the sky just opened in front of my eyes, there was the chance not just to have one but to build one, weeks after that I showed up for the 2010 open house, and my jaw just dropped, countless roadsters everywhere, dyno pulls going on, there where blue and white, silver and black, red and white and black and whites cobras everywhere, I knew it was happening, 4/2/2011 I picked mine up, when I saw it in sitting ready to be pulled out and into the trailer I hugged it, I told Dave Smith thanks for making it possible, he and his team did it.

But there is one really guilty individual in all this, the owner of that blue and white cobra that couldn't control those fat rear tires after a green light, so I ask, are you here? Who are you? I hope I can find you. Just want to say thanks.

Awesome story! It brings a simple truth to light... All of us who have built and drive FFR's affect others lives in positive ways. Open House is in two weeks, hope to see you there! I was in Costa Rica a few years ago and it was a beautiful country! Thanks for the stoke and support!
