Hello guys, Some may know that the 2015 coyote haves a small oil cooler on the engine that doesn't fit.

I will have a external oil cooler for my build. I'm looking for a thermostat sandwich plate. Mishimoto makes one for 2011-2014 but i was told it doesn't fit.

Any solution ?

thanks guys !

I think this may be what you are looking for. Find post 158 in this thread (http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1381121-project-53-aluminator-build-11.html).

Have you removed the Oil Cooler and tried the insert shown in the other Thread? I have the same issue and was wondering how it worked out.

Thanks

Mike

I discussed this in my build thread (link below) but didn't reference the part number. AL3Z-6890-A is the right part number. Ford calls it an "Oil Filter Insert." I got it from Tasca Parts. When the oil cooler is removed, there's a short stub insert. Remove that and replace with the AL3Z-6890-A piece. The oil filter now spins on directly and all is good. I can confirm it all works.

FYI - it's on back order at Ford until Mid April. There's no other stealerships with them in stock and no other parts companies making a similar one (at lest the 4 stealerships I called & 2 parts stores I visited last week). When you order from Tasca, just respond to their email letting them know you will wait until it's in and keep your order active :)
