Looking for some better ideas on mounting the dash (the plastic POS FFR dash) as the 2 flimsy brackets they give you are not going to cut it with the R where folks are in a hurry to get in/out and are using the dash for all sorts of things like tool repository, helmet stand, HANS holder, etc,

Also how are folks securing the front of the dash (where it meets the fiberglass mount) ? or maybe they are not ?

I used a bit of industrial velcro. It held it on there so well that I actually was looking for a 3rd and 4th bolt when removing the dash from the car this winter. I used a little on the front and a piece on each side. Holds it down well at speed, too.

What did you use to hold the dash in the cockpit area, just the 2 mounts that FFR provided ?

Yup, those two plus velcro gave me results I'm happy with. I also rest my HANS and helmet on the dash while I'm getting in/out

I did the same as pearldrummer. It looks good in the garage and after the glass has been installed.

Making a new one. BTW, we have a factory diffuser, dash, R-windscreen all available if anyone is interested.

I made 3 steel brackets to replace the 2 supplied aluminum brackets, and made them each about 2" wide. Now my dash feels solid.

Once the center console is installed it adds additional support. But, since I'm not installing the center console I got more brackets from FFR, a total of 4. On the windshield side I used a piece of weather strip and wedged the console into place (it sits very tight).
