I ordered the half shafts from FFR, where are these half shafts from? Is there a part number you can share? Are they the same length and size as the mustang? Just trying to see if these parts are going to handle 700+ HP or if i need to upgrade. I have the 33 Hot Rod. Thanks.

Hello,
Just talked with our engineers, our half shafts are good up to 500 HP. If you are going higher HP The Drive Shaft Shop in NC should be able to help you out. They are not the same length as the Mustang.

Interesting. That should be good for most of us. But good to know. I wonder how much of that is because the FF half shafts use stock OEM Ford CV joint components on new shorter axles, while the higher HP aftermarket parts describe new/upgraded CV joints in addition to the axles. Probably why the aftermarket parts are so pricey.
