I have been looking for an adapter that converts the tube nut end of the the FFR supplied fuel line to an AN-4 or AN-6 fitting I have searched Summit but I can't find anything that will thread on, this is the closest I could find.

Looks like this is what you're after (also from Summit):

This one will fit the 1/2-20 tube nut on the 5/16 inch tubing and give you an AN-6 fitting: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-640600/overview/
This one will fit the 7/16-24 tube nut on the 1/4 inch tubing and give you an AN-4 fitting: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-989548erl/overview/. Also this one: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fra-650224/overview/
These look like the only ones on Summit. Also there are likely others outside of Summit. But these appear to be the right combinations. Another option would be to go compression fittings and forget the flare and tube nuts.

I used the ones from Summit and they worked fine. Took me a bit to find the right combo...

I looked at the ones from Breeze, but they appear to be for the connections at the tank and not the fuel line.

Have you tried "Speedway Motors" yet? I've found all sorts of fittings there.

I actually used an AN-to-tube fitting (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-at165056erl/overview/) straight onto the tube. No flare & fitting.

I have some, but the manufacturer says its for Aluminum tubing only. Are these made for steel?

No, I wouldn't use them for anything but aluminum lines. That's the only thing soft enough to allow that type of ferrule to seal. There are compression fittings made for steel lines. Parker, Ham-Let, and Swagelok are three brands I've used. Super high quality and made for much higher pressure than we typically use. Breeze sells several different Ham-Let fittings. I've gotten Swagelok from Mike Forte. They're all over eBay, Amazon, etc. but there are so many different varieties and combinations it's a little hard to find what you're looking for.
The adapters I recommended I'm quite confident would have worked directly with the flared ends and tube nuts you already have, which was your original question. Did you decide to go another direction?

No, I think am going to use the adapters from summit, they will work.
