Dropped the motor in last night and tried to tighten the nuts holding the motor mounts to the ffr brackets. Pasenger side is easy but driver's side has steering brace right in the way. Have any of you guys figured out how to tighten that nut? Also, these deformed head flange nuts are for the birds. Even the passenger side nut refuses to fully tighten witb 1/2" drive socket and long ratchet. Ideas?

Do you have a pic of the issue?

I'm not using a 351W motor - but there's always a way....

I hate those nuts - I only used them when I know I will never have to remove them.

I gave up and went with standard lock washers and nuts, they work fine. God, who designs this stuff!

I don't much like the deformed nuts. I think they're a good idea in places like exhaust studs. But otherwise I switch pretty much everything over to a Nylock nut.
