Trying to buy new tires for my 3.1 roadster with 15 inch wheels. Was running 235/60R/15 on the front and 275/50R/15 on the rears. This was the recommended setup when I bought the kit. This time I am having no luck in finding matching tire brands for the front and rear in these tire sizes. Appears the 275/50R/15 size has been discontinued except in a drag radial. A 295 rear size tire won't clear. A 275/60R/15 is too tall unless I raised the body to a Daytona rake profile. Suggestions appreciated on what you are running with 15 inch wheels. thanks

I have Avon CR6ZZ tires on my car - 225s in the front and 245s on the rear. There are other sizes available, including 275 and 295. I believe all of them are around 26.7" tall.
Very sticky (80 wear rating) and a cool old-school tread pattern. Mine have shown to be pretty good in the wear department - only about 1/16" of an inch worn off all the way around after 3500 miles of driving. The downside is that they are a bit spendy.

Eldo, you might need to run a DR on back, and a nice stick tire up front, maybe also try Diamondback or Coker tires, they tend to buy molds from older tires and re-brand them.

There are plenty of people running 295/50-15s. A friend w/ a MkI has the Cooper Cobra tires.
