neutral safety switch

im have a ford AOD tranny, installing a lokar shifter. do i wire the neutral safety switch back to the fuse box or splice into the wire running to the starter. the wire is marked igition switch, i'm a little confused! any help would be great!

Splice the switch into the wire going from the ignition switch to the starter - doesn't matter which side of the neutral switch is connected to the ignition switch.
