Gas tank body question on MK4.

I recently built a Type 65 Coupe and found out that the rear of the body had to be cut to clear the FFR supplied gas tank. Since the tank is not installed when picking up the kit this escaped my observation and led to a little more work. Does the MK4 require the same modifications to the body so it fits over the FFR supplied tank? It would be a great help to me to know this before hand. Thanks for any help. TW

No it does not but you will need to trim back the rolled edges of the cockpit for dash pad and carpet on the back wall...da Bat

The supplied Mustang style gas tank for the Roadster doesn't come near the body. It's several inches away at least.
