Since I'm not able to work on my car, I thought about starting a build thread. Looking at my photobucket my pictures are all over the place as far as chronological order. There's a button that says sort old to new, new to old etc. when I hit that it does not really change anything.
Anybody know how to do that?

Thanks,

John

If you have posted any pictures from that album, re-sorting them will change the URL address of the photo, and thus make them unavailable to the original post.

I posted this on the other forum, but will post here as well. I use Photobucket a lot. I find the sort order function works OK. When I make a new selection (Oldest first, Newest first, Title, or Filename) the pictures in that library immediately reorder. Since yours doesn't seem to be working for the oldest or newest, maybe the metadata is missing for the pictures you uploaded. Do the other options work? Title or filename? Another option is to sort manually. The help page explains it all pretty well.

No, that's not my experience. I sort pictures inside albums all the time and the links don't break. If you move them to another album or library, then yes the URL is changed and links will be broken. Photobucket even warns you about this when you do a move.
