I'm ashamed to say that I have not progressed any further on the A/C from my post in that thread last July. I've been working on my 818 but on other stuff -console, audio, interior upholstery, a power steering fluid leak, - and this prompts me to get it titled & plated so I can get the A/C charged before my coupe top arrives. Bottom line: yes, it is possible.

Im in the same boat as pete, haven't really made real progress been working on other areas of the car.

Thanks Pete, seems like the compresser might be an issue.......

check out his build I am doing. It may help you out. Compressor to hoses will have to be made from the Subie compressor though.
