Has anyone tried to wedge a Boss 429 into the Roadster or Type 65? And if so, would a Tremek 5 spd, and 2015 mustang IRS suspension handle the power and torque?
This is about the only engine that I can think of that may not have been done... By anyone...
And it really has me thinking!

Yes it can be done, should it is the question.

LOL...! I know. I asked myself the same thing. That's why I posted the question here. It would make the coupe (or roadster) a single purpose street weapon. The three link rear suspension (with a 9" chunk) would probably be the better rearend, but I've always been partial to an IRS set up.
A little strategic weight placement might also be a nice idea. When have you EVER heard anyone put Weight into their build plan on this forum? Adding weight could help traction as well as help to get the car perfectly balanced.
A set of 335/30 ZR 18 Michelin Cup tires on the rear might help a little also...
Also.... Would the stock Daytona exhaust hold up, or would a custom made,
larger diameter tube exhaust need to be designed and created?
The wheels are turning...

Stig,
You would definitely need a custom exhaust to handle the breathing of a Boss 429. Those twin sidepipes are very restrictive. My relatively mild 422" Windsor picked up 42 rear wheel hp when I changed to a larger diameter single sidepipe. Also, had a much more pleasant exhaust note. Just trying to help out with your ambitious idea!!

Hi Gary,
Your signature says it all...
i really love love the look of the dual pipes on each side. I had actually thought of talking to Kooks to come up with a set headers and exhaust that would free up the flow. But this was when I was thinking of doing the coyote engine. The Boss 429 has me thinking in a completely different level. It's extreme, but I think it can be made to work.
