So, the car has been under cover and getting rolled from one side of the garage to the other on wheel dollies since November. The sun has been shining brightly all day and the temperature topped 60 by 11 AM. That was enough---I uncovered it, put it on the ground, gave it a bath and decided to take it to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner. The store is 3.2 miles from the house but by the time I got back home I had driven over 70 miles. That'll happen sometimes ;)

Similar temps here, but tons (literally) of salt dust all over the roads. Plus, my car is under cover, in my trailer, which is tucked into a corner of the hangar and pretty much inaccessible.... sigh.......

No ice cream Sten, just some Girl Scout Cookies! Their leaders know EXACTLY what they are doing and set up a table at the entrance to the Supermarkets----those little Brownies are just too stinkin' cute to say "no" to when they ask if you'd like to buy some:)

Sounds like a great way to start the driving season! Had the '66 Mustang out for our annual show Sat. First time in almost a year I'm sad to say. About the same for the Mk3. I've still got to put the recovered dash back in, and i have an event weekend for work this weekend, but hoping to get the Roadster out after that and put some miles on it. Hey, I at least have to calibrate the speedo! LOL
