:mad:OK for months I have been posting how difficult it has been to get my car to hook up. Had sever traction issues in 1-2-3...could not even push the go pedal 50% & the 315's would spin, rear end wanting to pass up the front end :(
So... I dropped my 3link LCA to bottom hole...25lbs in the 315's..pushed go pedal 90%1-2-3-4 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! 110MPH with small amounts of wheel spin.I'm a haaaaaaaaappy man.:o

Charles,

Wheel spin is my speciality (obi-wan quote)... Wish the guys at FFR tech had helped since that is usually a straightforward issue. Anyway, I have directed the staff to step up the presence on the forum and try (in spite of the normal crazy work-load here) to get answers quickly on here. I just gave a guy from New York the parking lot ride from hell... yeah, hook-up is a good thing and the FFR 3-link is a master.

This is exactly what we were talking aboyut before. These cars are very light weight, have a short wheel base, and often have a boatload of power. BUT, that doesn't mean they can't handle well and predictably. Traction is often at a premium. But it should not be that hard to find and maintain.

Isn't the car more fun to drive now?

The chassis and suspension on these cars is very good. Certainly not the best on the planet, but still very very good. But, you have o take the time, do the measurements, and make the proper adjustments. Carefull set up is very important. Ford spends millions setting up their suspensions properly, why shouldn't we spend the time?
