I'm not using sliders, so my seats will mount directly to floor. There is a plate welded to chassis that makes for easy fixing at the front, but for the rear it appears you have to bolt through the 2x2. The bolts in the fitting kit aren't long enough for this. Do I need longer bolts or is there a better way to mount?

The seat mounting hardware should have an assortment of long and short bolts. If not, a trip to the hardware store is in your future.

Even if you don't want the adjustability, I would recommend a set of Breeze seat mounts. They'll allow you to remove the seats without drama and also set the angle of the seat and back pretty easily.

Changing the angle means the bottom moves forward, and I need all the legroom I can get!

Yes you need to bolt through the 2x2 frame, and yes you will need longer bolts than those provided. Another one of those little kit mysteries...

Chop, not sure what seats you are using, but, since you need legroom, look into the foam in the back. Removing an inch of back foam would give another inch legroom. Something to look at before drilling holes.

I'm using the new big tall seats, so the padding is a lot less than standard ones.
