Does it matter if the donor is a convertible? I found a nice side impact 1994. I will have further questions for you guys in the future but wanted to act on this car as soon as i can. Thanks

My donor is a 1993 5.0 HO Convertible that I bought almost 10 years ago for a paltry $800; it was rear-ended by a Jeep Commander (guess who lost?). It was an insurance total loss at the time as the damage to the unitized body was too great to repair; doors barely close. But it drove straight as a choo-choo train, stops on a dime, and accelerates like a scalded cat. Still does today. Looks like crap, however.
Now I just got to get off the dime and order my kit. Been saying that for almost 10 years.

Some will warn you about the SN95 cars - particularly the '94 and '95s. The reason is that the bellhousing is a two-year only part and the input shaft on the transmission is longer than earlier 302 cars.
That said, I used a few parts from a '95 SVT and had no difficulties at all. That includes the engine block, head castings, bellhousing, transmission, rear end, gas tank & cover, parking brake handle & cables, rear calipers, pedal hangar (brake/clutch), and front spindles. Everything fit without any issues and my car turned out pretty nice - if I do say so myself.
