Has anyone had any issues with oil filter relocation kit leaking when under pressure? I have checked all of the fittings and two different filters with no luck. I’m not looking forward to having to install a different filter mount, not a lot of room with the Coyote V8.

If it's the same as FFR supplied with the roadster yes. They are sensitive to overtightening the fittings and crack. Several forum vendors offer a billet piece that won't crack.

Where did you place your oil filter. I'm having trouble deciding where to put it in my 33. The coyote, power steering along with the brake lines, front wife harness all being routed along the left side of the car where the oil filter placment would be ideal seems impossible. A photo if u have one would be great.

I am a little curious. Is the relocated filter mostly for the coyote? Is it something that was on the original? I see no need for it on my 5.0 install.

3dguy...have to ask, where did you get your "wife" harness? I think some of us might be able to use one!

galema33,
I have a Coyote installed in my Hot Rod and did not use any relocation filter, just purchase a filter for a 2010-2012 Cadillac CTS-V, it is short enough to clear the electra steering and fits in the original filter location, no relocating, no leaks, no runs, no errors! Napa filter #7060
