Hitting the Road in 2016!
I talk a lot about building cars. Admittedly, it's a borrowed concept, but the truth is still that when you build a Factory Five, you build a lot more than a car. You build something of value. You build friends along the way. You build family stories, but you also build a really great car that is a ton of fun to drive.
With that in mind, I promised myself to hit the road this year as much as possible, and put as many miles as possible on our cars. We'll be travelling to shows and events that we've never been to as well as some old familiar ones.

The annual winter tradition of Moochfest is back! Last year, the record-setting snow caused the event to be cancelled, and this year we are hoping for better luck. Join us for this super-casual, laid back event. This is a great chance to catch-up with old friends and talk cars when there’s not much car activity in the dead of winter. We're hitting the road this year and attending many of our regular car shows and a handful of new ones. We hope to see you at one of these events. Car & Driver Tech Editor Ezra Dyer produced this cool video for Yahoo! Autos on the Factory Five '33 Hot Rod and the newly approved Small Volume Manufacturers Law. Factory Five Featured on "Made in Massachusetts" News Segment
Massachusetts gave birth to one of the first car companies in the USA. Massachusetts also was the home of Indian Motorcycles until the 1950s. Local Boston news station WCVB visited Factory Five recently to film a "Made in Massachusetts" segment. Doug Meehan, a WCVB reporter, came for a tour and talks with Dave Smith about how Factory Five makes custom cars right here in Massachusetts has grown over the years. Click here to watch the video. All-New Factory Five Trailers Head Out
Factory Five customer Zach W. from Norfolk, VA stopped by the other week to pick-up his brand-new Factory Five 24′ all-aluminum trailer. Zack has built a Mk2 Roadster and is building an 818S. Zach was here to pick-up the new 818C front end kit, and he brought the parts home inside his new trailer. Everyone here was jealous of his F-150 Raptor, and now with this aluminum trailer, Zach has a KILLER set-up! Click here to learn more about the new Factory Five trailers.
