Guys
I have chassis #2735, built the car 10yrs ago, now that the 3-link is in, I've moved to the front end.
My question is, is there any difference in the arms(#12306), left/right? I measure no difference.
And if I have the old Pro shocks, do I have to flip them and put the rod to the bottom and the body of the shock to the top?
Cheers Ray

You might want to ask this in the Ask a FFR Tech section.

Just did this on my MKI. No problems with anything. Always had my pro-shocks inverted so put them back the same way on the tubular LCA's. Although, can't remember if the LCA's were marked R/L. Don't think so. At the same time I went to SN94-95 and changed breaks too.

Ray,

The front lower control arms are both the same. They are no different right to left. The pro shocks will work with our newer arms. The shock should be body up.

Best regards,

I just don't get the body up bit, maybe I'm used to the 80's dirtbike shocks.

I guess you could say there are two parts. Rod end and body end. If you pull the rod from the body you can tell. This end goes down. The body end is adjustable to raise or lower your road height.
