The Fabulous Nomads surf band will play again during the cruise-in event! The name Nomads is synonymous with waves, sunshine, music, and fun. The Fabulous Nomads, Orange County’s oldest surf band, were instrumental in keeping surf music alive and popular during the 80’s until its complete resurrection in the 90’s.

Factory Five partner companies have sweetened the pot for FFR owners at the 2015 Huntington Beach Cruise-In with some great prizes. Anyone who registers and attends the event with their Factory Five will receive two raffle tickets.

Note: In order to ensure crowd safety, the city of Huntington Beach requires that all show cars be parked during the show hours. Last year, we had a small rain shower, and some customers wanted to leave and were upset that the barricades had not been moved. This was to comply with city rules for events with pedestrian traffic.

Factory Five's Sally Bean and Tony Zullo show off the hardware destined for the 2016 Factory Five Huntington Beach Cruise-In!

Sally also mentioned that the Shorebreak Hotel called and it sounds like all rooms are filled for the weekend of the event. If you wish to still try to book a room at the Shorebreak, give Sally a call here at Factory and she might be able to help you reserve one.

If you have any other questions about this year's Huntington Beach Cruise-In, you call call us at 508-291-3443 or e-mail sally@factoryfive.com.

Hello guys,
Do you think that my GTM will go into what ever garage/parking the Shorebreak has?
Is it a steep ramp, tall speed bump?
It's real low, Just trying to get my ducks in a row.
I left a email with the valet, have not heard back yet.
Anyone that has been there, what do you think?

Hi Gene,

I don't think it is an issue as Factory Five has parked there previously. There are some reserved spaces on the first level at entry, and I imagine a car like your GTM might be accommodated. I wish I could give you a definite answer, but Dave Smith told me he has been in that garage and is unaware of any steep ramps or speed bumps that might take out your nose.

That's all the confirmation I was looking for, thank you guys.
Big trip for me, hope I make it.

See ya there

Hello from the "official" DJ of the HB FFR car show. I'll be there again to fill in for the Fabulous Nomads when they break, hand over the mic to Dave for his stimulating announcements and make announcements throughout the day. See you there and "surfs up dude".

Sally is busy stuffing over 100 registrations, t-shirts, name tags, raffle tickets, and car show forms. She told me that the host hotel rooms have all been booked (at least the rooms that were reserved for Factory Five customers), but if anyone still wants to stay at the Shorebreak host hotel, they can call the hotel directly and the hotel MAY honor the Factory Five rate if they have other rooms available.

Sally also asked me to post that registration online is open through next Wednesday, after which there MAY be registration at the event since this year we have some additional parking. Any questions, call Sally at 508-291-3443.
