trunk insert?

Has anyone built there own sheet metal/ fiberglass trunk insert? I was looking to get the FFR insert but being here in canada the shipping/duty and now the dollar exchange the insert is double the price.

I think I can make one from sheet metal and carpet it for alot cheaper than getting one brought up.

I may do one once I have the body on and interior done. I have to make my own because my intercooler intrudes into that space enough that the FFR trunk wont fit. Wouldn't be hard to fabricate at all if you have a bender. Or you could make it out of cardboard and duct tape then take it to an HVAC shop and have them bend something out of sheet metal to match.
