Hello all,
I am a new forum member from the Minneapolis area. I just recently joined the forums and ordered my kit from FFR. I am planning on a roadster build with a coyote and 2015 IRS. The car will be primarily a street machine with occasional track days to fill my missing void from riding motorcycles in the past. I have a reasonable mechanical background involving aircraft, motorcycles, and automotive mechanics. I appreciate the posts here from all current members and hope that I can add some valuable information for all in the future. Here is to an April delivery!

Welcome! Congrats on your kit order and upcoming delivery. I've got one of the Anniversary edition Roadsters underway with the same Coyote and 2015 IRS combination. Should be outstanding. Maybe you've seen my build thread. If not, the link is in my sig line. I was one of the early deliveries for the 2015 IRS, but I think there's quite a a few of them out there now although I don't know how many are actually on the road. If you're buying a new Coyote crate, it will likely be the new 2015-2016 version. I included quite a bit of information about it in my build thread. There are some differences to the previous version. Good luck and keep us posted with your progress.

Bill-
Welcome! Good luck with the planning over the next couple of months before you get your kit. It will give you some time to get the garage organized, right? And in Minneapolis, perhaps it will be warm by then. ;-o)
There are lots of good people here that will help you with any questions or challenges that may arrive. I have yet to come across anything that someone (or many someones), have already experienced, and overcome; and most importantly are willing to share their advice. It's like hanging around with your buddies at the local garage talking about cars. A few of your friends will be happy to give you lots of ways to spend your money too, so be careful!
I wish you luck on your build, and I hope you come here to share how things are going. We love to read build threads, and see your progress pictures. Congratulations again Bill!
Regards,
Steve

There are quite a few Roadsters in the Twin Cities. A bunch of guys gather occasionally for coffee and donuts on a Saturday. I think most of them are on FFCars site. Do a search. I've moved away from the area but used to join them when possible.

Thank you all for the welcome. I have spent quite a bit of time (the wife is a little jealous of my new mistress) reading others builds to properly plan mine. I will be sure to post up a thread with any progress when I begin.
