I ordered November 24th and was told it would be 2-3 weeks until they were shipping. I understand you all now have the special boxes specifically made for shipping the updated front end. Courtnie wasn't willing to provide anymore information than you're working on finding out the shipping cost from FedEx. Any ETA on when you'll start shipping and more specifically the white front end pieces?

I'm not looking for an exact date my parts will ship. But saying everything is waiting until you get the shipping cost from FedEx doesn't really give me any understanding on where you guys are at. Is that a 2 day process and parts start moving next week or is that a 2 month process with negotiations, etc?

Thanks

Think its more of they still don't have the parts needed for the kit. Glass, lights, and manual don't seem to be finished yet.

Good luck bro. I bought the bought the only crate they had made at the time. Your best bet is finding a freight company to shop for you and just have them make a new crate. It will save you time and money. The number Courtnie came up with from fedex/ups was $2000 ballpark. I got my front and top shipped air freight for half that to SoCal. If you want I can give you the number to the shipping broker I used. Parts are still out. Just got word back the all back ordered parts still haven't come in.

I am not upgrading to the hardtop. I don't need glass or a shipping crate. They have the fancy boxes for the front end now.

FFR?

I called yesterday (or Wednesday) as I put in my order before the new year to get the good pricing. They were going to call back with shipping info. When I called them they said they had just gotten the new boxes, were figuring out shipping, and would call customers when they had it. I think I went about 1.5 months without hearing anything. I called just to make sure my order was still in so I wouldn't have to pay almost double for the same parts.

Hello,

We are waiting for the headlight buckets, we should have some headlight buckets in next week. We do have the fancy new box, just waiting for headlight buckets before we ship. If you have any questions give us a call.

Thanks,
Greg

Update to the forum members - my white front end was shipped out today. Hope it makes it through shipping and quality looks good upon arrival.

Did that include buckets, lights, all components, etc? If so, I'll need to call them.

Honestly I'm not sure. Courtnie emailed and said they could ship it today with payment. I emailed back while sitting in a meeting to go ahead with my card on file and it was done. This will at least get me the fenders to start aligning with other body pieces.

Shipping was $175 to my door. Not sure if it's a flat quote for all or if that varies by location.

They contacted me to but said my shipping was $199 and we are in the same state? What gives? They said the box was good size and around 100 pounds shipped. Should have all pieces from what I was told.

All pieces. That's nice hopefully they send out the back ordered parts for everyone else.

I haven't heard anything on my front end yet. Did you guys ship to a home address or business?

Hey guys,

Going to clear some things up. We sent out a few front end orders yesterday. We only got a small amount of head light buckets and lenses in because we had to test fit them before we ordered the entire bulk. Nate spoke with FedEx and figured things out. We agreed with them that we would have a flat rate shipping price of $250.00 for everyone regardless of location. We are expecting the bulk of the headlight buckets and lenses in within the month. The boxes are here, we approved the lenses and buckets to our vendor, we're just waiting on them to come in.

Thanks, Courtnie. Could you give a similar update on the hard top package? I've got prepaid orders for the hard top and front end, both in white. Waiting on glass?

How about a update on the manual revision.

The glass should be here within 2 weeks for the hard top. Once the glass is in the hardtop/front end packages will begin to be shipped out. Our engineer has been working diligently this entire work on trying to complete the manual revision.

Thanks, Courtnie. That helps me plan for the arrival. (OMG, where am I going to store the engine covers, windshield, etc.?)

Flat rate of 250 regardless? Even for Canada?
That would be way too awesome, but not impossible to be true. :)

I confirm it's $380 flat rate for Canada.
I have a solution for Canadians and also for US on the long run. If Trump wants to become POTUS, he should buy Canada and make it the biggest State of USA (sorry AK). That's the only way to "make America great again". lol

I only watch playoffs. :) Which I won't this year anyway cuz... ya know... loll

For those Canadians, before we get bought by Trump, I confirm another fee, FTN fees (Fedex Trade Network). If you use them as your broker (you need a broker on this shipment), they charge you 80 bucks. Then you pay your proper taxes too. For QC it's another 265 bucks (CAD) on top of the USD819 (introductory price) for parts + USD380 shipping. That's about USD1400 at today's rate, whereas true US mates get it for say around USD1100-1200. Nice job Canada. Help us, Mr Trump.

Frank-

You do understand that if your plan does come to fruition, that Quebec stays behind, right? ;-o)

I do like your plan otherwise though! Canadians are good people!!

Steve
