GTM doors

Whats up with the doors on the GTM? The door frames won't fit in doors, unless you cut them in half and re weld them, then the window regulator won't fit unless you cut and re weld again. What can be done to make the doors fit the way your instructions say? I have read posts from eight years ago about this problem, so you must have known about it. Help
