I am planning to mount my side and hood vents from VRaptor. Can any one recommend an adhesive that will provide a good bond between a flat head bolt and the fiberglass? I tested Marine 5200 and it did not provide the results I wanted. It stayed flexible and the bolt pulled out with moderate effort. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I used perforated base studs and 2part epoxy. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/122/3193/=10v8gvy

Agree, on the base studs, I also use this epoxy http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00063WASQ/ref=pe_385040_127745480_pd_te_o_s_ti/182-7688594-3179805

Haven't used the referenced epoxies. But generally for the vinyl ester body it's recommended to use a vinyl ester product. 3M Marine HSRF is kind of the standard that many use. http://www.amazon.com/3M-Marine-Strength-Repair-Filler/dp/B000XBKL1Y/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1453930257&sr=8-15&keywords=hsrf. I've used the same perferated studs and HSRF for my last two builds. Very strong.

I use HSRF to bond elevator bolts for the louvers on all of the ones I do. Take the underside rough chopper 'glass down with 40 or 80 on a DA and clean it well with wax & grease remover before bonding.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. The "perforated base studs" seem to be what I am looking for. I was on McMaster & Carr site but it is hard to find things when you don't know what to call them. I have some HSRF so I'll give that a test. Thanks again.
