Do you think this will be comparable in performance?

Similar weight to the coupe and sub motor can easily be tuned to those power levels. Traction control is a must though at that power to the rear wheels.
Wonder what the price difference would end up at?

I think the 818's styling wins, and the value proposition is a no brainer as well. Not to mention there is no artificial limit as to how many people can decide to enjoy an 818....just FFR's production limits!
I don't think Factory Five gets the recognition they deserve....yet. I sense it is coming.

The Lotus web site says, "The Race version of the 3-Eleven will be available in all markets, while the Road version will only be sold in Europe and Asia."
So . . . . can't be licensed in the US or Canada?

I have $818,000 in mine, if you count hours of work, hours of frustration and hours of FUN.
Got to say the hours working with my son, are priceless.

lol Bob!
The 3-Eleven is in a different league than our cars, I think. I'd love to own one of those. That said, at the price, you can buy a lot of toys....and a lot of them are faster than the 3-Eleven

Meh 818 for sure. I could live without traction control a nice LSD is all you really need :)

Can get traction control in an 818, limited slip too! I have both :)
I agree that the 3-eleven is in a different league than our cars, so long as the league we are speaking of is OEM fit and finish. I would think the 818 could easily out-perform the Lotus on the track or the street. 818 is a bit lighter and can be made to have more power than the lotus. But it will always be a kit car unlike the Lotus.

For $180K, I could build a really nice 818. With metallic stripes and all, pfff.
