So I am thinking of installing one that I have, but where do you mount the key ? Tell me about your setups and maybe some pics ? Thanks all

I used one of the RFID Pushbutton systems off ebay. The pickup coil for the RFID is beside my seat. I didn't use a keyed switch. You could hide a shutoff switch somewhere and still not use a keyed switch.

I'm pretty sure that DaleG did one. He gave me the info, but I am sure he can explain it better than I could. PM him, as i am not sure how often he frequents this forum. If you can't get to him, I will dig through the information he gave me and get it to you.

My key is located on the dash just like normal, the push button is under the dash, but you could mount it anywhere.

why not have a proximity sensor push button start system. No key switch needed.

What's your purpose for the pushbotton? Security (hidden) or cool factor (up-front) and lit on the dash?
I mounted mine on the dash above the key, it is lit when the key is turned and the parking brake is on. Release the parking brake and the light goes out.
