things have changed and my coupe is going to be for sale:-(, just picked it up a few months back but with the oil and gas market tanking it's time to cut way back. it is an unfinished roller, with the big wilwoods front and rear, 8.8 with 3.73 posi 3 link with a watts link. brand new in the box 17" halibrands with unmounted sticky falken tires. i have a injected 302 complete or a 351w both with edelbrock heads and full roller valve train. tremeck 3650 5 speed. i believe i have everything to build the car, wiring harness, seats, a/c unit, power rack and pump, fuel tank. power window regulator is installed in drivers door and works passenger side not yet done. the guages are not with the car?
i have tons of pics but cant get them to load???? i can email or text pics. i'm sure that i will loose some $ but it's not a fire sale please don't low ball! car was manufactured in '06 s/n #295

It would be helpful for those interested to know your location. It's not in your profile or your listing. Good luck.

Wow Steve that sucks! Looks like you have a well appointed kit. Good luck with the sale.
Asking price would be helpful also.

i'm honestly not sure what a fair price point would be? i'm in it with motor and trans about 20,000. i didn't buy it with selling in mind, and fully expected to keep it and finish and enjoy it for a long time.

Steve,

The rear suspension looks like Gordon Levy's 5 link, which is considered an upgrade from the 3 link. Good luck with the sale! Also, looks like the rear hatch has been retrofitted with the glass hatch.

I would certainly think you should be able to get your money out of it. That's the price a complete kit, and you are already way ahead in parts and labor. Great value that somebody who is thinking about a Coupe should really give some thought.

Do you have the headers and exhaust? Which engine was basis for the headers, 302 or 351?

I bought the car from a long time friend and he has built several kits and said we have all of the needed docs to get title done? He has all of it at his place and I'm taking my bill of sale for motor and trans to him this next week.

Thanks a bunch Garry! :( Garry knows I want to add a coupe to the stable and make it my next build. I think he also knows my affection for the 5-link rear suspension. This car has many of the things I would include in a coupe build if I was building it. It's priced great @ 20K and it should move quick. Just wish I had the money right now to grab it. Economy is just not strong enough for me to go out on a limb right now. Wish you the best for a quick sale.

Well, I'm not Gordon (obviously) but sure looks like the same as what I have my Mk4 #7750, and I can confirm it's from Gordon. :)

Well after months of tracking people down from 3 different states, i have a VIN number and title is to follow in 2 weeks! i haven't posted any more pics since this seemed to be a big selling point or should i say a deal breaker without having title! in the next few weeks motor and trans will be installed and it should be startable! All of this trouble hasen't changed the economy in the oil and gas business enough for me to be able to keep the car however so it is still for sale

Sorry about that i'm just north of Tulsa,OK i'm a little flexible on the price. please feel free to call or text me if you'd like to talk about it? i do have a trailer and can help with delivery but we've got a 2 year old so i'd have to schedule it between work and her!

01-25-2017, 11:54 AM
Well i finally have title in hand! it's titled as a 1965 assembled vech, motor and trans are going in and trial fitting the side pipes before sending out for coating! i guess i'll keep poking on it as most of the parts are already purchased. Anyone have a recommendation for coating the side pipes in white?
