Hi folks,
What is the best route for the licence plate wire? Originally I had it running along the outside of the 3/4 rail but then realized it clashed with the aluminum! I have re-routed along the inside of trunk. I've put green tape on it so you can see in the photo. This could come through floor with a grommet. Is there a better location?

Also, can I have help identifying these parts. I know what the centre parts are, but can't remember how they mount to chassis! These support the body. Does anyone have any photos?

Thanks everyone.

the left are sidepipe hangers. the center brackets mount from the quickjacks up over the air intake cutouts and mount the the directions. the right are for donor radiator fans.
As far as the license plate wiring...i do not hame a picture but i ran the wire along the ps hinge and directly into the lid. i used wire loom along the hinge to clean up the exposed wires....not the best pic but you can see a little in the upper right49803

Not sure if it's the "best" way, but i poked mine up through a grommet near the passenger side rear roll bar stub. It just made the most sense based on how my wiring was laid out under the trunk floor. I plan to run it up to that 3/4" tube, then along the hinge into the trunk skin. Figure it'll be pretty hidden.

Current build I'm working on. Wires come up right next to the rear leg of the passenger side roll bar.

Hello Ian - Here is a photo of how the two center parts are installed. It was taken just as I was taking the body off.

What's the matter, Rich, someone put sugar in your gas tank? ;)

Thanks Jazz, MisterA, Frank, keyser.
Great pic Jazz. I have searched the manual for reference to this (or a pic) and nothing. (Yes I do have a manual!)
I admit I am not the most technically minded and I do lean quite heavily on this Forum, and I usually get the help I need. Thank you all.

So Jazz, do you add this bracket after the body is on? I see the quick jack holds the bracket on, so not sure of sequence. Still love that bass by the way!

Back to the original question. I brought the wires up through the trunk floor beside the drivers side rear roll bar leg, along the upper trunk hoop to the hinge. Used the hinge as a support and through a grommet into the opening between trunk lid layers. I put a connector in the wires before the hinge in case I have to remove the trunk lid in the future. Here are a couple of pictures.
Hope This Helps
